"Saved by Christ. United in Love. Reaching our Community."

What We Believe

From our Constitution

The church is a community of those who believe in God the Father, in His Son Jesus Christ, and in the Holy Spirit ‑ one God; who are repentant of sin and have been saved by personal faith in Jesus Christ through His atoning death and resurrection; who publicly confess their faith and who are committed to the church's purpose and vision.

GBC believes in:

The true humanity and Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ

The atonement made on the cross by our Lord for the sin of the world

The person of the Holy Spirit as the one who sets apart, empowers, and imparts spiritual gifts to the church

The inspiration of the bible and its authority in all matters of faith and practice

Salvation is by faith in Christ alone

Membership of the church for those who have received salvation

The immersion of believers as the only scriptural form of baptism

Becoming a Christian

To us, being a Follower of Jesus is the best thing you could choose to do - it brings hope and peace and life.

If you'd like to know more of what it means then feel free to contact us here.

Or you might want to watch something. That's probably a bit easier. Take a look at the clip below - here Francis Chan encourages us all to stop and think about the big things in life and what is most important. It's 15 minutes that could change your world!
